Color development through science

This work isTitanium anodizingThis technology is used to produce the colors.

This utilizes a phenomenon called "structural color," the same phenomenon seen in soap bubbles, rainbows, and the wings of morpho butterflies; it is not paint or coloring.

The color is created by controlling the oxide film that forms on the surface of titanium.

You can specify your preferred color and finish, and we will create a unique piece that is different from the rest.

Please refer to the color menu and choose your preferred combination.

Custom Order Procedure

① Select the ring size at the base of the finger.

② Selecting the ring size on the fingertip side

Measure midway between the first and second joints.
→Please note that it will usually be smaller than the base.

X is highly likely to not notice DMs due to its specifications.
For measurement, we recommend using a "ring gauge," which allows you to determine the ring size by passing the ring through it.

*Titanium is difficult to process and cannot be resized, so please carefully select the finger you want to wear it on and measure the size!

③ Selection of mounting direction

A. Place the fingertip side on top of the box and the base side on the bottom of the box.
B. Place the fingertip side at the bottom of the box and the base side at the top of the box.

④ Select the box color

*Please write down the colors you would like on the front of the box, from left to right.

Please select a single color or multiple colors from the attached color menu. If you choose two or more colors, please select the combination using "sequential numbering".

Please note that if the color numbers are too far apart, a gradient effect cannot be created.

Please note that if you mark an "X" as an example, the box will be manufactured using the "⑧" on the front.

⑤ Select the color of your tongue*Up to 3 colors

Please choose a color from the menu, similar to option ④.
*Please write down the colors you want to use on the tip of your tongue, from left to right.

If you want the color of the tip of your tongue to be ⑥

Please note that if you mark an "X" as an example, production will begin at the tip of the tongue (⑧).

⑥ Selection of finish

*You can choose from two options.
A. Apply color to the entire surface.
The selected colors for the box and tongue will be applied to the entire design.
B. The edges of the box are silver, and the tongue is painted entirely.
The edges of the box will be silver, and the grooves will be colored.
The entire tongue will be colored.

*The color coating on titanium will change over time due to friction.
For those concerned about color fading or changes in condition, we recommend leaving the surface silver and only coloring the grooves!
One way to enjoy the changes that occur over time might be to view them as a representation of biological growth.
